CELEBRATING FILM MAKERS FROM THE HAGUE
ROOTS was founded by Filmhuis Den Haag to offer a platform—and a big screen—for filmmakers from The Hague. It aims to strengthen connections within the local film community and contribute to a dynamic and thriving film culture in the city. ROOTS consists of two key initiatives: the ROOTS Film Festival, an annual two-day festival showcasing local talent, and ROOTS in Motion, a quarterly event focused on short films.
